Like trinkets, tinsel and broken glass
worldly things twinkle and flash
and catch our eye
for a moment.
Let it only be
a moment.
Let us look closer
and see the Source
of reflected light.
Let us see You, Lord.
For when once we see You,
LORD, YHWH, the great I AM,
smaller attractions seem as nothing.
Only trinkets, tinsel and broken glass.
Lord of Light,
shine on us all.
