For the Love of God

Proverbs 9:10 says "the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom."
I say also, "the love of the Lord is the beginning of peace."

Lord, help me today to show someone Your love. Let peace begin.

Prayer for Calm Power

Lord, help me today to get done what needs to be done. Help me to know what is most important and do it. Help me also to calmly put away lesser tasks until such time as You show me is appropriate. Help me always to remember as I hear the ticking of the clock, "there's - plenty - of - time" with each tic toc.

Thank You Lord for answering my prayer. Lead me today in work ordained by You. And help me always to remember that the most important work of all is to "believe in the One You sent." and to love one another as He commanded.
